Just an FYI,

I designed, in OpenSCAD, a mating plate between the Mad Scientist Hut MRE breakout board and the Banebots Bearing Plate for the P60 gearbox:

I also sell 3d printed versions of this part and more (see link on the above page).

I really enjoy using the Mad Scientist Hut MRE breakout board. It gives me all of the data I need from the chip, and it's easy to mount and use. Shipping was prompt too. Thanks, Kirk!

Let me know if you need any other mating surfaces designed, or circuit board cases fabricated. I was using 1/8" plywood before I got my 3d printer. The plastic parts give a nice clean appearance, are zero hassle, and I have a lot of fun designing them.

FYI, I've given this project it's own Microsite, separate from Create This. CreateThis.com is more of a Marketplace for 3d Printed digital and physical goods. These 3d printed parts have a specific purpose. You can now find the open source software and 3d printed case work at the DIY Servo project: http://www.diyservo.com
