On sale now for $2.99 each. This handy little breakout board handles SOIC wide, SSOP (3.9mm wide package, 0.635 lead pitch), and TSSOP (4.4mm wide package 0.65mm lead pitch) up to 18 pin ICs. The board has standard 0.1″ spaced pins for use in standard breadboards. The board has two SOT23 footprints, useful for if you want a small voltage regulator or FET on the protoboard. Also there are 0805 footprints on both sides of the board for power supply decoupling. The 0805 capacitors can be air wired to the required pins and meet manufacturer requirements for proximity of decoupling capacitor placement.

I thought a simulation would be nice so that people could see a graphic representation of how the Joule Thief works.

Now that the sever issues are resolved, I can get back to business. The 3-axis sensor PCBs arrived. I am in the process of writing the code to test the boards. Once the boards are tested they will be put into the products section of the website. The boards use the Freescale MMA7660FC 3x3mm DFN 10 pin IC.
- 2 row x 4 pin 0.1″ header spacing with 0.6″ separation between rows. Allows for use on a through hole proto-board.
- Unpopulated 0805 pull-up to DVDD resistors for SCL and SDA. Two 4.7KOhm resistor included with each board. Allows flexibility in choosing where you will use pullups on the I2C bus.
